Peter Obi Is In A Very Difficult Position – Azomchine

The Labour Party, under the leadership of their Chairman Julius Abure, has faced a lot of criticism over allegations, and there have also been a lot of talks about the deepened crisis within the party, particularly after disagreements over the national convention that the party held some weeks ago.

Ikenna Azomchine, Obidient General for the New Nigeria Movement, indicated in an interview with Arise Television that the flag bearer of the Labour Party for the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi, is in a difficult position due to the crisis that has plagued the party in recent times. 

During the interview, Azomchine said, “I don’t speak for his excellency Peter Obi, but I can tell you that he is in a very difficult position at the moment. It’s difficult for you to know what part to take when people you normally believe in have the ability to do the right thing.

Regarding the recent crisis in the Labour Party, he said that “I don’t know who is fueling what is going on in the Labour Party; Obi at this level should be sympathized with by every Nigerian. 

Speaking further about the impact of the former governor of Anambra State, he said, “That man has done a great job of assembling all of us. You know I am not going to sit on your channel’s television to tell you what happened in the 2023 elections.
