In a startling claim that’s rippling through the nation’s student body, Oladoja Olushola, the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has accused Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, of abducting him for rejecting a multi-million naira bribe.
During a recent press briefing, Olushola narrated how what began as a formal invitation to Lagos quickly turned sinister after a meeting with Seyi Tinubu and the Minister of Youth allegedly took a dark turn.
According to the student leader, his ordeal began after he refused a ₦100 million offer meant to buy his silence and loyalty. Following his rejection, Olushola claimed he was violently assaulted and detained against his will.
“I was stripped naked, beaten seriously, in collaboration with the MD of NTA, I was packaged to NTA to make a voluntary statement that I’ve renounced my position as NASS president,” he alleged.
Olushola further disclosed that he was pressured into publicly stepping down from his role as NANS President, allegedly under the watchful coordination of the Managing Director of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).
As if the claims weren’t damning enough, Olushola accused Seyi Tinubu of making chilling threats about the extent of his influence. “Even if they killed him, he would order the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to cover it up,” he alleged.
