I Am Alive, Hale, Hearty- Fuji Maestro

Renowned Nigerian Fuji Maestro, Kolawole Ayinla, popularly known as General Killington, on Monday denounced rumours of his death.

Reacting to the rumour which went viral on Monday, Ayinla said those behind the rumour should be referred to a psychiatric hospital for proper medical attention.

The veteran musician who asserted that he is alive, hale and hearty said there was no cause for alarm over his state of health.

Junior Pope Not Buried By River Bank- Police

The Anambra State Police Command says the remains of Nollywood star, John Paul Odonwodo, popularly called Junior Pope, were not among those buried by the bank of the Anam River.

The Command’s spokesman, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, made the clarification on Sunday, stating that only three of the deceased families agreed that the victims be buried by the riverside.

He noted that after the burial of the three, one of the families came back to exhume the remains of their daughter for a befitting burial in her country home.

Military Rescues Remaining 4 Abducted FUG Students In Zamfara State

The remaining four abducted female students of the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria have been rescued by the military.

Jacob Hassan, who is father of Naomi, one of the abducted students, confirmed the rescue of his daughter and others to AIT.live via telephone.

Noami, a 100-level student of the Department of Microbiology of the University, informed her father of their rescue by the military at about 2pm on Sunday, April 14.

Nigeria’s Crude Oil Reserves Hit 37.50bb

Nigeria’s crude oil reserves increased from 36.96 billion barrels (bb) on January 1st, 2023 to 37.50bb on January 1st, 2024.

Besides, the country’s Natural Gas reserves rose from N208.83 trillion Cubic Feet (TCF) on 1st January 2023 to 209.26TCF on January 1st 2024.

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Gbenga Komolafe broke the news to reporters in Abuja on Monday, April 15.
