Moment the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu analyzed the stipulations on the Nigerian Constitution and the rulings of the Nigerian Court that declared him freed and acquitted, educating Justice Nyako a sequel to her ruling has triggered mixed reactions.
Justice Binta Nyako had during the ruling on Monday, the 20th of May, 2024 denied Nnamdi Kanu’s bail application, citing jumping bail, while the prosecution Counsel pushes for commencement of trial.
In her ruling, Binta Nyako denied Mazi Nnamdi Kanu bail application, saying he jumped bail the previous time.
Reacting to the ruling, Barr. Aloy Ejimakor reminded the court that the detaining authority are spying and eavesdropping his clients conversations trying to interfere in his privacy with his client.
In response, Binta Nyako told the DSS to provide Mazi Kanu with a safe, and clean space to always meet with his lawyers.
Also reacting, Kanu’s Special Counsel, Barrister Ejimakor maintains that the DSS are known for flouting her instructions, as they’ve done so habitually since 2021.
Meanwhile, the prosecuting counsel are urging the court to start the trial immediately.
