The governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule while being interviewed on the Channels Television’s Politics Today said that polls do not count in Nigeria elections because the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi was given the smallest field during the flag off of the party’s Presidential Campaign in Nasarawa but was unable to occupy the field. Governor Sule said,

“Presidential election through polls do not count anywhere even in America. I live in America for most of my working life. We have seen a lot of polls, where polls are even more authentic than what we have here. Most of the time those polls don’t tell you the fact, it depends on who you are talking about. You’re taking a segment of a people, majority of voters in Nigeria are not on social media. To think about it, We gave Obi the smallest field in Lafia of one elementary school but still they could not fill it up.”
