‘Conducting Bad Election in 2027 Might Lead to Nigeria’s End’, Baba-Ahmed Warns

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, a former aide to Vice President Kashim Shettima, has cautioned that any plans to compromise the integrity of the 2027 general elections could have severe consequences for Nigeria.

In a widely circulated video shared by Politics Nigeria, Baba-Ahmed expressed strong concerns over the possibility of electoral manipulation, stressing that such actions would not go unchallenged.

The ex-presidential aide, who recently stepped down from his role and is also a former spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum, issued a stern warning that a flawed election could spell doom for the nation.

“Conducting a bad election in 2027 may lead to the end of Nigeria, I swear to God,” he said.

He also hinted that prominent figures from Northern Nigeria would soon take a definitive stance on the political direction of the country ahead of the next presidential race.

“There will be a time we will come out and say it’s okay, and it’s soon. This injustice is over. We know who we are,” Baba-Ahmed declared.
