Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister and a representative on the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, has disclose that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is facing Exactly what he did to Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 was face.

Femi Fani-Kayode said in 2015 when Goodluck Jonathan contested for the presidency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar led five Governors out of the party, which is the reason why Goodluck Jonathan lost the elction.

Recall that, after Atiku Abubakar won the PDP’s presidential ticket, the aggrieved governors which include Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and Seyi Makinde of Oyo State moved that the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu who was from the North should resign and be replaced by a southerner from the party since it was wrong for the presidential candidate and the National president to hail from the same zone.

Atiku is currently dealing with a similar political situation as five PDP governors have decided they will not support him in the 2023 presidential election.
