Gunmen suspected of kidnapping two Umungalagu-Igbakwu brothers who live in Umungalagu Ivite Aguleri and work as native doctors in the same community.

Ifeanyi Simon, also known as Mgbo, and Okolo Nneke are two brothers who live in the Umungalagu village of Ivite Aguleri.

They were kidnapped on Thursday afternoon at Ubaruisioye junction when they stopped to change the flat tyre on their Toyota Camry.

Confirming their kidnapping in Aguleri, Community Chairman Dr Fide Ndigwe prayed to God to intervene in the victims’ rescue.

According to him, “We are saddened by their abduction because they are both Umungalagu-Igbakwu and also reside in our community here and we pray to God to intervene because their abductors demanded for two million Naira ransom and the brother was able to raise only #300,000 but the abductors are not willing to accept the amount.

As a result, both are still with their kidnappers.
