Nigerian Man Uses Skateboard To Beat Wife To Death In UK

A Nigerian man, identified as 35-year-old Afusat Oziri, has been arrested in the United Kingdom for allegedly using a skateboard to beat his wife to death. The incident occurred in the couple’s home in Birmingham, West Midlands, on April 22.

According to reports, Oziri and his wife, 32-year-old Folashade Oziri, had a history of domestic violence, and neighbors had previously reported hearing loud arguments and screams coming from their home. On the day of the incident, neighbors called the police after hearing a loud noise and screams, and when officers arrived, they found Folashade lying on the floor with severe head injuries.

Oziri was arrested at the scene and later charged with murder. He appeared in court on April 24 and was remanded in custody until his next hearing.

The incident has sparked outrage and concern about domestic violence in the Nigerian community in the UK, with many calling for greater awareness and support for victims of domestic abuse.
