The owner of what could be seen as the damaged Naira notes stacked inside various bags and hidden inside a store house in Benue state has finally spoken out and given an explanation to such, after the police command in the state invited him to seek some clarity about the video which had gone viral.

Oga Suleiman, the owner of the supposed damaged Naira notes told the Benue state police command that he had gotten license to be in possession of what he has, which was mainly for business purposes.

The owner who made this revelation further stressed that what was seen on the social media was merely wasted papers from the CBN, which he uses to turn into mosquito coils.

However, SP Anene Catherine noted that they have extended their investigation to the apex bank to verify the statement which Oga Suleiman said.

Recall that a video had gone viral where stashed of Naira notes which have decayed were seen inside a store house in Wadata Baracks in Benue state, and this is coming after the apex bank in line with the federal government had changed the Naira notes for the benefit of the masses.
