Death is inevitable, for humans but as weird as it seems, it is highly illegal to die on a Japanese island.

The name of the island is Itsukushima (dedicated to gods), the island is regarded as a god, the rule was made in the year 1878, to maintain the purity of the island, dying on the japanese island is illegal, and till date, the rule still holds with no cemeteries or hospitals In or around the Itsukushima island.

The rule was made by a commander after he won a war called the battle of Miyajima in 1555 and ordered all the bodies of dead soldiers be moved out from the island, and the island was scrubbed and washed, to clean all the spilled blood, and also destroyed all blood-stained mud.
