President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday, lauded Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, for his remarkable leadership style and impressive infrastructural strides in the state.
According to a report by Naturenex, Tinubu, who arrived in Anambra to commission several landmark projects completed under Soludo’s administration, expressed deep admiration for the governor’s efforts in reshaping the state’s development narrative.
Among the projects slated for inauguration during the President’s visit were the Emeka Anyaoku Center at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, a brand-new Government House, the Solution Fun City, and the expansive 8-lane Aroma-Government House Boulevard in Awka.
These initiatives reflect Governor Soludo’s drive to modernize Anambra and enhance the living standards of its residents.
While addressing attendees at the event, President Tinubu spoke highly of Soludo, describing him as both a friend and a forward-thinking leader. “I am honoured to be here. I commend my friend, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who is a visionary and competent leader for the work he has been doing in Anambra State,” Tinubu remarked.
The President’s words underscored Soludo’s ongoing commitment to fostering progress in areas such as infrastructure, education, and economic development across the state.
Ahead of Tinubu’s arrival, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, Political Adviser to Governor Soludo, issued a public notice advising guests expected at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square to dress in plain clothing, avoiding any political party outfits.
“This is to inform you that everyone coming to Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square for the reception of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today should be in mufti. Please, nobody should put on APGA clothes or Support Group uniforms,” Obiogbolu directed.
