Again, Bandits Abduct Two Female University Students In Katsina State

In yet another harrowing incident, gunmen suspected to be bandits have carried out a kidnapping in Katsina state, targeting two female students from Al-Qalam University.

The victims, identified as Habiba Ango Shantali and Maryam Abubakar Musa, fell victim to the abduction on their way back to school on Monday, January 15, 2024.

“The National Executives Council just received a sad news that two of our students from Niger State who are studying at Al-Qalam University Katsina have been kidnapped on their way back to school,” the statement read.

“The victims, both from Borgu Local Government, are: Habiba Ango Shantali, a 200-level student from Political Science department and Maryam Abubakar Musa, a 400 level student from the department of Micro Biology.

“May Allah rescue them from the hands of those notorious people.”
