The Niger State Government Authority has issued queries to both the headmaster and class teacher of a primary school student whose criticism about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sparked controversy online.

A now-viral video captured this young debater expressing concerns regarding the impact of Mr. Tinubu’s presidency on national economics, specifically mentioning increased insecurities and high living costs.

Minister of State for Defense, Bello Matawalle, responded by warning such “unguarded” comments could lead to repercussions, while acknowledging the child’s impressive oratory skills despite their potentially threatening nature.

This action comes amidst ongoing discussions around the administration’s controversial decisions like fuel subsidy removals and currency devaluation.
